Micro-needling

Medical micro-needling procedure is aimed at stimulating the body’s own collagen production to generate new skin cells which makes the skin smoother, brighter, and healthier. Hence, it is also called collagen induction therapy. Micro-needling can also stimulate blood flow and promote hair growth.

What is Micro-needling?

Micro-needling works as a skin repair treatment to significantly improve the appearance of large pores, fine lines and is an effective acne scar treatment.

It can also be an excellent tool to tighten loose skin after weight loss.

It uses tiny needles attached to a pen device to gently puncture the skin, causing a series of traumatic punctures.

This injury to the skin stimulates the natural healing process as it begins to break down old rigid collagen and release serum growth factors which stimulate new collagen and elastin development. This is a complete skin remodeling process.

The collagen and elastin created by micro-needling work to smooth and firm the skin, plumping out deep lines and improving the indented or red appearance of stretch marks or scars making it a popular acne scar treatment.

The treatment can be enhanced by applying a mesotherapy, exosomes or PRP.

It is suitable for use on the face, scalp and body, for both male and female clients.

It is less invasive than many alternative solutions, and you can normally return to your daily activities straight away (although you may notice some redness/swelling).
